Hi, we’ll be visiting Universal next month. We have always for the last 20 years exclusively gone to Disney and stayed on property. We were thinking maybe one night of driving over to one of the hotels to grab some quick service or tableservice food. Has Covid changed anything, would we be allowed to park at a hotel as an offsite guest? Thanks!

Not likely. They are more strict about parking now. If you are not a guest of that resort and you do not have an ADR, it's quite possible that you will be turned away at the guard shack. You could always visit Disney Springs and take a bus to the resort you want to see. There's no restriction about arriving via Disney transportation.

You would need to have a dining reservation at a table service restaurant to guarantee being able to park and go to the resort.

Yep, they are restricting access to resorts. We were staying at Riviera last week. The skyliner to Epcot started running 1 hour before it opened. You could not get on early to go to the Epcot resorts unless you had an ADR. So even as a guest at a Disney resort, you still are restricted.
