We are going for a brief tour round bits of England and Wales (and are hoping the floods don't come back!) We have one day in Bath and apart from the Roman Baths and the fancy streets what else should we be trying to see? I've never been before and don't want to miss stuff!

Our jaunt in Wales is about sorted with a visit to the Dr Who expo in Cardiff and Cardiff Bay and an old school friend in Bridgend. We are stopping off at various NT properties en route to and from home. Should be fun!

When are you coming to Cardiff Mikki, I may see you around and about the Bay.:thumbsup2 I cant help with Bath Im afraid, only been there at Christmas time for the Christmas market. Let me know if I can help you out with anything in Cardiff though:thumbsup2

It's a few years since I went to Bath but we also went to the Assembly Rooms ~ they were free for NT. There was a Museum of Fashion there that charged (including NT) for admission but I think our tickets for the Roman Baths included this as well.

We had gone to show our DDs the Roman Baths as eldest DD was learning about the Romans at school (I think she was in Y3, she's now going up to Y11  ) but all they wanted to do was dive into the Disney Store as we don't have one in our home town! ;)

15th August is our Cardiff / Bridgend day. We are staying in Newport but it doesn't seem far to get to Cardiff. Too good a deal from Saga to stay at a Hilton (one useful thing about a dh over 50!)

Looks like NT / Fashion Museum is still the same but I'm not sure about the Baths including the admission - worth looking out for. A Disney store? I'll have to go look for that ;)
