Visa meet and greet

I read on another thread awhile back that you get the free 5x7 if you have the visa when you do the character meet and greet at Ariel's. I also saw that someone did not use their picture taken at Ariel's for the free 5x7, but got a free 5x7 of a different character greet when they went to the photo center.

Has anyone had this happen or is the photo center pretty strict about the free picture being only the one at the Ariel's location?

Totally makes sense...but no clear answer for you.

I haven't had a problem getting a different DCA character photo using my free coupon, but apparently others have. YMMV! Good luck!

Yes at both Dl and WDW it all depends on the CM you come in contact with at the Photoplace. It's totally up to them to give you the a different photo for the voucher.

When you check-in at the line they will look at your DVisa and give you the voucher with the last 4 digits of your card on it.

It's before Ariel's opens for lunch, I think it is 10-11:30. We got lucky last time, they do Mickey and Donald the first 1/2 hour and Chip and Dale the second, them back to Mickey and donald, (at least when we were there that was the line up, the CM upstairs when you check in can tell you) well we managed to get there at shift change and got all four, together, it was so much fun. We were the only family there and my dd loved playing with the characters.

We had about eight pix on our photocard, including the one taken at Ariel's where we got our free coupon. When we were viewing the photos on Main St, the CM told us we could choose ANY one for free. We actually bought one and got one free, so maybe if you only want the free one, it has to be the Ariel's one? Anyway, it is a great perk, if you ask me!

Can't help you, we only had the Ariel's photos on our pass that day. We missed the first 1/2 hour. The 2nd shift was Chip and Dale. We already have a photo with them, so we returned for the 3rd shift. It was Mickey and Goofy. We were the only group there and had a blast. The kids loved the interaction and we took TONS of photos in every combination of the 5 of us and the 2 characters. The CM even called to find out where we could meet Donald that day. I hadn't asked, he just overheard our conversation that we wanted to meet Donald and called for the times. Great perk! I loved the free Disney Visa stroller too.

Sounds great. I will definitely check out who is going to be there on what shift. I like the free stroller too. We learned last time to get the stroller the first day. DS was pretty beat from all the walking.

Just show up to Ariel's Grotto before they open is when they do it. You have to show your CC to get in the door. The characters vary depending on the day, and there isnt a posted schedule on them. You get a picture for EACH card you have, so we had 4 cards for 2 accounts, we got 4 pics. The guy taking picss told us we could use them for any of the pics throughout the park, but then he called to verify and they said only for the charcter ones..so just try it! Its great!! We will def. do that every time we're there.

Yes, Me and my bro are on the same account, and my parents have one account, but we each have a card. And so we got 4 picture tix. The guy said for each card he "sees" he can give one out..It might depend on the character attendant, but just show him cards, and dont say anything about the accounts. We even had the same designs..

That tag came from a thread about a year ago about the tagged and the tagless. Right after that thread, the TF ran amok around here, and I got tagged. Then the formet tagless and tagged were joking about how we could all distinguish ourselves...hence the secret fruitcake dance comment!!

It must depend on who is working. They would only give my husband and I one voucher. However, when we picked up the picture, we were able to select any of the pictures on our photo card including the ones taken at Disneyland.

Just make sure you arrive well before 11:30. We arrived just before 11:30 one day and they told us it was over. Also, the line up for the lunch starts before 11:30 and it can get pretty crowded.

Last year we went every day on our trip. We were able to pick whatever picture we wanted from DCA. It all depends on the CM. My advice is to get other pics taken in the park and hope that the friendly CM is one that will let you pick. Good Luck!

We will have 22 of us going over Easter (a fun family trip with Nana, her kids and spouses, and their kids) Each separate family has a Disney VISA so we will be able to get some fun pics. There is a limit to how many people can be in each photo. Can't remember how many though. It may be 6 or 8.

The way I understand it is...one per day per account.
