Virgin's cancelled flights

This has now appeared on the Virgin Atlantic web site:-

Due to operational reasons, Virgin Atlantic has had to cancel the following services:

Between London and New York, Newark:

* VS017 LHR-EWR 23 Aug - 15 Nov 2005 (Tuesdays only ex-UK)
* VS018 EWR-LHR 24 Aug - 16 Nov 2005 (Wednesdays only ex-US)

Between London Gatwick and Orlando:

* VS027/028 LGW-MCO-LGW - 7, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 27 Sept 2005
* VS049/050 LGW-MCO-LGW - 4, 10, 17, 24 Sept 2005

Passengers will be rebooked onto the VS015/016 London Gatwick to Orlando services on the same day.

Thanks for posting, although I believe that the majority of people affected by these changes have already received letters from Virgin letting us know.

It's a bummer but at least we're only going to be an hour or so later arriving.

And we're still going, which is the main thing

That has been on the website for a while which is why I questioned my letter from VH as we go on 14th September.
