Virginia residents if you are interested in a Dis Meet let us know

Cherinva and I are thinking of a Dis Meet in the Richmond, Virginia area. It would be either November 5 or 12, 2011 (date has not been decided).

We are still working on ideas but what we need is a location. If we can't figure out a location then the rest doesn't matter.

So anyone interested in helping us think of an idea for a location PLEASE help. I contacted the Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center, but that may be a little pricy. And my church hall is a little out of the way.

So if anyone belongs to a church or a community center or an apartment complex that has a room we can use, please let us know.

Also, who would be interested in attending???? Depending on the group size, I may have a location idea.

Wish I could be there! It would be great to meet some fellow DISers in my hometown of Richmond... But we are in Romania, and that might be a bit too far away for a quick meet up! but if I think of any place I'll post it for you all!

We would love to come DH & I...but the week/end of the first our son graduates Marine boot camp in SC....The 12th would be the best for us...we are just south of Richmond about an hour....

Ok, great. The date hasn't been set yet...we're trying to see how much interest we can spark. Still looking at a place to hold it....not much luck in the Richmond area, so I'm looking into Williamsburg or Va Beach. I'd like to keep it centrally located, if I can. Keep checking back for updates.

We might just be a possible for this - we're in NoVa, and it can take hours to get to Richmond, depending on the traffic, but we also have ties to Williamsburg and might be able to make a weekend of it. I'll stay tuned!
