Virgin welcome meeting

Can anyone tell me where the Virgin welcome meetings are held & at what time? We only need to go to exchange the vouchers for the Kennedy trip we booked through Virgin (regretting it already as we didn't realise we'd have to go to the meeting) so hoping to be in & out quickly & not actually stay for the meeting!

Virgin have changed their welcome meeting venues now. In the past everyone was invited to the AMC Cinema in Downtown Disney but now they have seperate meetings depending on your location.

We stayed on International Drive and our meeting was held in the English pub at the Mercado Centre.

Not the best venue I'm afraid.

Thanks - unfortunately we don't know exactly where we're staying yet as we're staying in a house (booked through Virgin). Last time we went it was in Kissimmee but I understand that now it is more likely to be near US27.

I guess we'll find out when we get there!

When we went in Jan, our meeting was at La Quinta Inn Lakeside in Kissimmee. However we duly turned up at 0800 as instructed & there was no rep & no one else so we left as we didn't want to go to the meeting really, but were prepared to go for the freebie - shoppping trip & lucky draw (dead cert if no-one else arrives). Met another family later in the holiday who had been told to turn up on the same day at 0830. They were the only ones there, so guess who won the ticket???

When we were there in Feb we were staying at La Quinta and had our Welcome meeting there. It lasted roughly 30 minutes and it was us and 2 other families who were there, it was at 0830. If you are not bothered I wouldn't go, but we went for curiosity and we bought a Virgin ticket which gave us free childrens meals in restraurants such as Sizzlers/Ponderosa which we used a few times and certainly go our moneys worth.
