Just been on the website putting in dates for next year, and when it comes to choosing your starting airport ie Gatwick or Manchester these used tobe the only choices.

Well there is an extended list, Glasgow, Newcastle, Inverness, Edinburgh. Does anyone know if this is going to be direct flights or are they offering connecting flights into the booking process.

I have tried to take the booking form further for the prices but it is not letting me.

I am certain it would be some sort of connecting flight scenario, I would be staggered if Virgin added 4 new routes all based form the North of Britain.
Cannot see this ever happening.

There has been talk of a Glasgow service in the future, but if they do eventually add that I am sure they would not fly from Edinburgh and Inverness also.

There was an TA advert in yesterdays Daily Record taking bookings for Virgin Glasgow to Orlando direct service next year but think it is only July, not sure. don't know if I am allowed to name the TA :confused3

I take it that was a mistype and should have been '4 new routes from the North of Britain' !!!!!!

Last time I checked I lived close to Scotland's capital which isn't in England.

Ah yes - sorry, mis-type.

A few Floridians I have spoken to in the past have said "are you from Scotland which is in England", so that's where maybe I have got confused perhaps , having said that I have also been asked if I am Welsh or Australian so....?

Maybe I need to 'check where I live' so that my geography doesn't suffer.
