I have been to a number of travel agents and tried checking on a number of web sites but no one can give me a price for flights with Virgin for mid November next year, they all say you can only book 11 months in advance.
Now I know these boards have the information I need (like a tel No) so its just a question of you kind people coming forward and helping me out.We will have a 2 1/2 year old with us and think the direct flight may be better than the schedule airlines we normally use even though it may be a little more expensive. (Manchester to MCO) What do you think ?
Thanks
DEREK

We've been having exactly the same problem!!!!

The only website we found that were willing to give us a price (although NOT book - they wouldn't/couldn't do that!) were airlinenetwork.co.uk and bonvoyage.co.uk. The price Bon Voyage gave us for a flights and a car for 20 days next November (for DH, DD (4) and I ) was pretty good so we rang them to see if we could 'pre-book' (which I understand means they'll book it on the day the flights become available). The price they gave us when we rang was even better - £1,369. That's for fully inclusive - Alamo Gold - car hire as well as flights. I think in order to get the very cheap flights, you pay over the odds for the car but overall it's much cheaper!

Obviously, if you weren't on the lookout for car hire as well, the prices may be different, so you'll have to see.

If it's any consolation, we began thinking about out trip in Nov 2004, in May and were pricing up trips for THIS Nov as a guide. Even in May, we were still able to find flights, for reasonable prices, with Virgin fro Manchester, on almost all the sites. So even if you have to wait until Christmas to book, you should have no real problems for November 2004.

By the way - WDW in November is great - this will be our 5th trip that time of year (first with DD though!)!!!:teeth: :bounce:

Hope that helps!!!

Although (as with any scheduled flight) you aren't able to book flights with Virgin Atlantic before the 11 month window, you can book fly-drives with Virgin Holidays. Virgin Holidays are allocated seats for their package holidays. Fly drives by definition are packages and are detailed within Virgin Holidays' brochures. You can book directly with Virgin Holidays or via a travel agent.

Thanks guys
Virgin holidays want £399 per adult and £599 for 7 seat van and Bon Voyage are better, coming in at £325 and £560 for the van so at least I have some info now
