Hi,

Can anyone let me know what meals they offer to children? Is it just one option? My boy is now 2 and a fussy eater - won't eat pasta, eggs, veg (no suprise), rice or meat incluing burgers but will scoff hot dogs or sausages.

Yes this sneaky mummy does lots of hiding bits behind toast.

Our previous 2 trips I took loads of snacks and picked up a fruit brioche at the airport but then he wasn't entitled to a meal as under 2 on lap.

Really want him to eat meal on plane rather than snacking as should kill 30 mins!

Also any tips on getting him to eat mac n cheese as kids menus are so limited to hot dogs, pizza and mac n cheese, burgers. Not that I blame him I too think it's gross but most kids seem to love it.

Thanks all.

Last April, my kids had macaroni cheese, a chocolate muffin / brownie thing, a small bag of haribo and a orange juice.

To be honest it wasn't much good for them, neither really liked the pasta, but luckily we had taken lots snacks with us for them.

Its only one option and DD has never had the same thing twice!

Most often it is pasta. Sometimes its with a cheese sauce & chicken others a meat sauce. DD has always eaten them.

Also on the tray is a juice box, fruit bag, puree thing (Outbound) and a treat biscuits/sweets.

With regard to mac n cheese - I am no help DD loves pasta and has been eating Disney Mac n cheese since 9 months!

TBH She is not a fussy eater and we always make her eat what we eat even if she says she doesn't like it. I realise it is not always possible but being at Nursery a couple of days a week has helped too as they follow the other children and they all eat their veggies!

My daughter has never even touched any of the kids food! She usually just takes my bread and that is all she will eat and she ends up not eating till we get to the hotel! I try to make sure she has a good breakfast and take a few snacks on the plane, the snacks usually don't get eaten though.

She is usually a very good eater and has a big appetite at home.

Kind of thought it would be some pasta related thing. Hey ho, Boots Gatwick for us. Get some grapes and yogurt stuff again.

Do they feed kids first? I'm veggie and it always comes out before hubby's which generally works well with toddler and restricted elbow space. We flew BA last couple of times and I was rather impressed with meal.
