Virgin Flying Club - claiming miles for all party on one account?

Just booked my first Virgin flight for the family this week, so joined the Flying Club to claim the miles. But it only allows me to enter my Flying Club number for my seat - is there any way to claim the miles for the seats for the rest of the family? Or will my wife have to claim her miles herself?

Haven't been able to find the answer on the Virgin website.

One per person (although I think if you are gold there is a way, but unfortunately I'm not there yet!).

However, if your wife is not a member yet, you can do a recommendation for her, she joins, you both get bonus miles, then once the flights are done, she can transfer miles to you. Friend recommendation is an option once you've logged in online.

As above send her a friends link to join, both of you get bonus miles and the miles from the flight. You won't be able to claim for her.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I have a question. We are on a miles plus money flight at the end of the month which means I don't get any miles, but if my wife had a virgin frequent flyer accounts would she be able to claim for her seat?

Just to add to this - my wife got an email recently which offered 50% more miles on next flight, but you have to register for the offer, there appeared to be no conditions to it other than that. Might be worth looking for.

If you are both on Miles & Money then neither of you should be able to claim but try when you return home, the system usually allows you to claim.
