Virgin flight prices in May

M+M with VA next April quoted me £722pp economy, using sky scanner the cheapest standard VA economy was £850 ish. I didn't check using the VA website for a standard fare though as it's generally not the cheapest.

TC and Thomson are coming in around the £650 mark.

A few of the people on this thread seem to have got their flights for around 550, hopefully we will be lucky, I'll have to keep an eye on this years prices and see when the sales are. Does anyone know if miles + money gives you much discount?

When the flights were around £670 each back in january they were about £580 m+m. The best months I have found to look were september and november. But as I posted earlier even yesterday a week before travel they were less than £550 each without m+m through orbitz. Does not mean to say they will be like this next year. Its a waiting game

We are now planning on going in May 2016, so we can't book for ages but we are budgeting around 550 per person. Does that seem realistic?

We paid £540pp with VA for May flights back in 2010 - so I'd be happy to see flights around that price in 2015
