Virgin Changes - Please help

We need to make a couple of name changes on the flights that we have booked
(My gran has been told she medically cant fly, this wasnt an issue when the tickets were booked)

how do i change the names with Virgin Atlantic and can you give me any indication of cost?

I don't think you can change the names on tickets to another person anymore, they can only be changed if incorrectly spelt. As you Gran was medically fit to fly when the ticket was booked does her insurance not pay out for her ticket?

According to the VA website, for ticket changes you need to call reservations on 0844 874 7747.

However, I think Claire is right and, technically, if your Gran can no longer go it is a cancellation, which should be covered on your travel insurance (assuming you have it) if she was medically fit to fly when the ticket was booked.

As above its not something we can give advise on, you really need to speak to Virgin.
If you do have to cancel you should get taxes back, then claim on insurance.
