I was at Biggin Hill yesterday (don't live far from there), it was truly amazing. Went right over our head and the noise was fabulous.

I love watching the Red Arrows, they usually come locally to either the Wirral Show or Hoylake Lifeboat Day and we always try to see them, they are so good

I have seen the arrows before and their display later on yesterday was impressive. I was, however, very impressed with the control that the 747 pilot had. Wonder which "lady" it was?

Indeed!!! Which is why I should have remembered to have my camera out for the following day - it happens every year FGS, you'd think I'd be able to put two and two together... It's one of those odd things I love about where we live...

For me tho', nothing beats when Concorde used to fly over daily at 10am - I still miss the sight and sound...

Yes remember hearing the 'sonic boom' around 9pm some evenigns whn I lived in Devon.

Sad to think Concorde is no longer flying

Hope the Red Arrows have many more years to come, as often used to see them most summers at the Dartmouth Regatta and now more recently at Eastbourne Airbourne.

My memories of Concord are more from when I lived in Central London, we had a west facing garden, and 6pm every night on the dot she disappeared into the sunset, LHR bound Miss that bird

The Red arrows once flew right over my house, it was when the paralympic games were in Manchester, it was so loud I thought we were under attack.

I saw a Virgin Atlantic plane take of yesterday on my way home from DD school. Which was strange as I don't usually see planes going over where it was going.
