I was looking at Virgin America fares last night. $79 each way from Seattle to LAX for this summer. :yay:

There is also a $92 fare from San Diego to Seattle should you decide to fly home from San Diego.

Here, Molly, I'll help . . . .

100 degree heat and 90 minute waits, packed walkways and stores, sweaty and sometimes stinky guests, frustrated and tired CMs, and high prices at all the hotels.

There, feel better? ;)

Thank you! :)

Also, Eamon isn't 42 inches yet, so it would be just torture for the kid to still not be able to ride Grizzly.

Sorry for being a tease! :rolleyes1

But, being Canadian, we get excited about fares like these. :yay:

Those are great fares. I checked some dates in October and found the $79 rate there too :cool1:

It's tempting to drive up to Seattle for those rates since we have to buy so many tickets. Right now they are running around $250 rt from Portland to LAX in October.

My fingers are still crossed that the fares will come down again.

Just be careful about parking charges, since seatac is insane with the parking costs, compared to PDX. :)

Can't wait for the lightrail to be done up here...you guys could catch Amtrak, get off in Tacoma, walk across to the lightrail stop and lightrail it up to seatac. :)

Well, depending on how many people you have, that might not be as thrifty as it could be for us (if we lived in OR).

I did this! My friend and I were just wanting to go down for a few days, but we saw this price and ended up booking for a week! (Hey, hey, don't blame us...it was because of the price that we just had to stay that long...officer.) And this was for September!
Ohh man, so excited.

The parking and gas charges would probably offset any savings. It is gets more expensive to get down there with each kid we have :rainbow: (each face here represents a $250 flight, lol)

We are going for 11 days, and the Master Park cost is still going to be cheaper for us than if we were to fly out from Vancouver.

I'm with you! A 4 hour drive on the highway isn't too bad mpg wise....hmmm.

Well, until Bumbershoot came along and said something about high parking fees, grrrrr :rotfl2: ;) (back to reality!!)

I just don't get why the fares are so high from PDX, it's driving me nuts!!! I'm going back and forth between booking now at $281 each (from PDX to SNA) or waiting a little longer and hopefully it will go down (but what if it goes up?) ugh!
