VIP, Villains and Vino With Jen and Joe on the Go New TR Link and this TR is COMPLETE!

Your lunch looks awesome! I haven't eaten at Liberty Tree since 2015 but had it booked for my trip with Jack. We will definitely try to book it for next summer. I am all over the colony salad and Joe's appetizer looks great (as does yours!)

Spending a late morning in MK, meeting Mary Poppins, and having lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern was a wonderful way to start the day. However, there was still a lot more to get done...I have no idea how we got to MK this morning. We wouldn't have driven as we are not fond of parking at the TTC and taking the boat or monorail over. I know we didn't take a bus from Destino Towers, because we didn't use the buses this entire trip...I do know that we drove to our next destination, Disney Springs.

We did some shopping, grabbed a Jam Jar at Wine Bar George (my new favorite wine), and made a Rice Krispy Treat at Goofy's. If you haven't done this, I highly suggest it. It's so much fun and not very expensive.

Next up, we drove back to Destino Towers, rested a bit, and then headed to the Grand Floridian. We had big dinner plans this evening at one of my favorite restaurants.

LTT had always been consistently good. We try to hit it up every couple of trips.

The make your own rice Kristy treat at Goofy’s is my absolute favorite snack! Sometimes I’ll make an extra just to take home!
I really hope they are still going to be doing it...I honestly never thought to make one to take home. Great idea Kelly!

Lots of nice things in WoD but I have to confess the Jam Jar wine is what I’d most likely spend my cash on lol
Holy cow Moira! Jam Jar wines are the BEST!!!!

I’ll have to try Jam Jar wine. I like sweet wines and this sounds like something I would like. :)

ETA: it looks like you can buy it at Target and Walmart.

Dinner at Narcoossees Blog and Vlog!

Let me start by saying that I absolutely love Narcoossees and any time I can get a reservation here, I'm one happy camper...This trip would be no exception.

We checked in and were seated right away at a window table overlooking the 7 Seas Lagoon, the Contemporary Resort, and Cinderella's Castle. Yep, the view couldn't get much better.

Joe started with a Glen Levit pour and I had a glass of Reisling. For apps, I had the shrimp cocktail. I get this as my appetizer just about every time because it isn't your standard shrimp cocktail. The shrimp sit over a citrus sauce that is both tangy and refreshing, so good. Joe started with the shrimp/crab cake which he enjoyed as well. For our entrees, I had the full Maine lobster and Joe had a filet with mashed potatoes and a delightful Whiskey butter to add to his steak. Our server brought us complimentary champagne to toast Joe's birthday as well as a piece of Tiramisu. We also ordered a piece of vegan carrot cake, which totally blew our minds. It was absolutely delicious and one of the best items I ate this entire trip.

While we ate our dessert, HEA had started and we were able to enjoy the sights and sounds right from our table, which was really nice.

After dinner, we walked around the resort some more and took in the lovely fountains and flowers.

But, this wouldn't be our last time at the Grand Floridian...We would be back the very next morning for breakfast...

It all Starts with Breakfast...

Hi everyone! I hope you all have been having a great week. Joe and I have been working and we just finished binge-watching Rectify on Netflix. It was really good and I highly recommend it. We are also counting down until our July trip, which is only 22 days away now. Yay! We know this trip will be much different from Disney trips past, and we look forward to sharing all the new changes with you. We are going in with low expectations, in the hope that we will be pleasantly surprised. We may have even booked another trip for early next year too, but more on that MUCH later...

When we last left off, we were headed back to our room at Destino Towers after a wonderful dinner at Narcoossees. We showered, put on our jammies, and went right to sleep. It had been a busy day and tomorrow was going to be busy as well...

After a great Disney sleep, we got up, showered, got ready for the day, and drove over to the GF. We were having breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe. When we were last here, the experience wasn't that great (September 2019), but every time before that had been good, so we thought we'd give it another try...

We checked in and were seated right away. I know Joe and I both started with a delicious glass of OJ and I had a latte with a little bit of Disney magic sprinkled on top. This was a great way to start the day. We were also given homemade biscuits with the best butter ever. It was citrus-infused and tasted so good. I had a Mickey waffle with bacon for my entree and Joe had the famous chicken and waffles with a honey sriracha drizzle. He loved these and thought they were one of the best things he ate during this trip. The service and food were much better than the last time and so good in fact that I made a reservation for our July trip...

We walked around the resort a bit after breakfast and got back in our car to drive over to HS. We had a FP for Mickey Minnie Runaway Railway and we were excited to ride it for the 3rd time. I believe we also had FP's for TSMM and A**. We hopped on the Skyliner after that and made our way to Epcot for a little bit of Flower and Garden. This was my first time on the Skyliner and I will admit, I was VERY nervous...

Hi! I’m new here. This has been such a fun TR to read! I was supposed to have my first Villains (& any after hours experience)After Party in June, but we all know that didn’t go as planned...maybe some day. But watching your vlog of it truly helped ease some of the pain. The Skyliner is equal parts terrifying and fascinating to me. I couldn’t help but think of the impending doom if it were to fall while in it, but overall I enjoyed how efficient it was. I’m looking forward to hearing about your July trip too!

Two wonderful meals. Glad breakfast redeemed itself this time. I think I'd be a tad anxious on the Skyliner but it seems most people are fine when they give it a go. Love the photos of you and Joe in your Trilby hats. I've just ordered myself a trilby in hope of some summer weather. 🤞

ETA I just watched the video and I loved it! You are such a softie Jen tearing up for the poor old Quasimodo :love:

Agreed! Always a favourite of ours too. :)

Perfection!

Your breakfast looks so good, especially those biscuits!!

Flower and Garden is the best! Hoping to be there for it in 2022.
Although the Skyliner is not one of my favorite modes of transportation, I will say it was fast and efficient. It took me a few times to get used to it. I'm not comfortable with it but I will take it over the buses any day...
I love the skyliner. :) You two look so cute in your hats!
