Has anyone done this before? We have done this when we had limited time at DW but I do not know anything about it at DL. ANY advice would be appreciated.

Did it once. It should be similar to DW. On fastpass rides, you go in fastpass line. On other rides that are possible, you go through different entrance for true front of line. There are some rides where VIP cannot get you front of line, mainly in fantasyland, they can send you a list of the rides if you call them. I would recommend doing the rides where VIP cannot help separately.

They also offer VIP seating with chairs or benches for any parades or fireworks, this can be after your tour ends.

There are some shows or events like Jedi training where they can assure you get your child in the show, but that has to be during your tour, so I skipped that, since it's pretty easy to insure that. They can also do the meet Mickey at. Mickeys house.

As well, you can park hop if you want and have park hopper tickets.

I did it on Christmas Day, so it was worthwhile just in terms of beating the crowds.

We've done it quite a few times. It is well worth it for us. In addition to expedited entrance to rides, you can also get entrance to see the Launch Bay characters, and Anna and Elsa. When the grandkids were small, it was nice to be the first into Disney Jr. My nieces enjoyed riding Screamin' 5 times in a row. My granddaughter loved riding Goofy's Sky Skool 10 times. And not having to wait for Toy Story was great.

And they will give you ideas for great pics. Well, I can't find the pics I wanted, but here are a few others.

We did it a couple of years ago -- loved it. You can have up to 10 people in your group but we just did our family (4). We were able to do every attraction we wanted in both DCA and DL during the 6 hours we had the plaid, some more than once. It's not a total "no line" thing -- rides that have FP you still have to wait in the FP line, although without the actual FP of course. My recommendation would be NOT to do it first thing in the AM. This was one of the few times we were able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the park without worrying about hitting everything early before the crowds started. We just did PP first thing (because it's not included on the VIP tour), then went and had breakfast and did a few other attractions before our tour started at 10. Even if you're not still on the tour for the night-time shows, you can get reserved VIP seating for the day of your tour. We were done at 4 but were able to get VIP seating for Fantasmic, for instance. One thing I wasn't prepared for was how exhausted I was at the end of the day. You don't realize how much resting you do just waiting in line. Covering two parks in one day with no resting by waiting really wiped me out. (We did stop for a sit-down lunch.) The kids and DH were fine, but I had to take a break at Flo's while everyone else did a lot of DCA ... which was actually fine with me because there's a lot of DCA I don't do.

Anyway, lots of fun and would love to do it again sometime!

Agree with the above. We usually start our tours at 1 or 2p. This way we are ending just before night time shows. We also take a break mid way thru, because it can get exhausting! Also, don't forget to budget in a tip for your guide.

What are you wanting to do? Maybe we can have better ideas or plans?
