Just posting this for fun based on prior posts about the band of 'thugs' that some people claim to have seem roaming around Universal.

3 Arrested After Pleasure Island Knife Fight

Three men were taken into custody after a knife fight at Disney's Pleasure Island, according to police.

Officers arrested Markkeith Harris, 28, and William Murray for allegedly attacking Tommy Simms, 40, outside of the BET Club Tuesday night.

An off-duty sheriff's deputy in Orange County, Fla., broke up a fight at the tourist attraction.

All three men are out of jail on bond, Local 6 News reported.

I wonder if we'll see that on the community board???

I'm one of those what you would call Disney Nut, but it seems to me if something were to go down at either place, it would be easier to go down at Pleasure Island. Cars are literally parked right in front of the entrance to PI and its more of an open free-roam area. At City walk, it seems a little better with crowd control. The cars are parked in parking garages away from City Walk and everyone follows a certain path to get to CW. I havent been there since March, but I could swear they at a pseudo security check point before the main entrance too, which PI has none.

I'm the 28 yr old in this thread. FYI Mr. Simms and his crew were trying to rob Mr Murray for his 10,000 dollar chain he had around his neck. We were the ones attacked!

Sorry you had that experience nearly 6 years ago. The news article doesn't even come up to anything anymore so I can't read about it.

So, what became of all this? Were u all aquitted? Guilty? Enquiring minds wanna know.

There is never any such thing as complete safety anywhere. I am sure that there are streets even in notoriously ritzy neighborhoods like Beverly Hills that one had better stay off of, especially at night. I realize also that people's inhibitions do get lower where there is alcohol involved. However, City Walk is past security check points. Anyone up to no good has been spotted on security camera and knows it.

Was that a $ 10,000 chain based on Today's prices or 2006 prices. Thing must have wieghed a ton. Talk to you in six years.
