Did anyone use the vintage Rolls Royce for their transportation? I am looking into it (I also like the vintage Ford). Just wanting to see if you thought it was worth it.:goodvibes

I almost splurged for it.... I wanted something a little *extra* special, and DH has always admired RR. But, in the end, the limo worked out better for us. We had some kids at the wedding that were spending the evening at the Neverland Club at the Poly, so we used the limo to take them over there. They had a great time in it, as most of them had never been in one before.

But, I REALLY wanted to get Cinderella's Coach..... oh well, that just means I have to plan a VR.....;)

I thought about it too but someone on this board said the Model T was so tiny that both of them barel fit- Plus with us the limo worked better as we needed transportation for our wedding party and the family and then we had a bus for our guests (I was a custom)

The vintage Rolls Royce was one of the few things I knew I wanted and I thought it was worth every penny. We loved it! :goodvibes

Hello stranger! Havent seen you on this board for a while!!

I didnt have the rolls but i did see it at the GF a few days after my wedding! It really is gorgeous! A friend of mine had it for her wedding here in the UK and it made some wonderful photos!

DF and I have the RR booked for our wedding. My dad really wanted to ride in it, so that had some influence on us. Our WP said that the Ford Model T is not as popular because it is open air, whereas the RR has air conditioning.

:cool1:

WOW! Those pics are great! Was Gary Fox the photographer you used? I have not heard of him, but it is obvious he is very talented! Thanks for showing me these pics....it is making me more convinced to go with the RR!

Thanks, it's good to be back! I got into nursing school last year, and that has been consuming my life, so we had to postpone the wedding until I am through (just 8 more months!!!!   ).

Anyway, I am excited to be back in planning mode! I too think the RR will make for some great photo ops...just have to decide if I want to shell out that much cash!

Hmm, that is good to know. If you are splurging on the 600, what is 200 more for the RR, right?:rotfl: You have to post pics after your wedding!!!:goodvibes :thumbsup2

If I werent doing the Coach I would do the Royce.. SO elegant and Classy...

Lovely pictures, Icats! You had a beautiful, unique gown!

Thank you! :goodvibes

Thanks! Yes, Gary Fox was our photographer. This is his website: http://www.gfoxfoto.com. And, if you're interested, you can see the rest of the pictures he took for us here.
