Villas At the Disney Institute?

I'm sure this has been posted before but I was wondering what is going on with the Villas at the Disney Institute. We were hoping to stay there in October but I noticed that they aren't listed on the WDW website anymore. Are they reopening or are they closed for good?

They are tearing them down and building a new DVC resort. I have stayed there in the past and enjoyed it. I think I read that they are doing away with the 1 and 2 bedroom villas. I do not know about the treehouses (one of my favorite places) or the club suites.

My DW and I loved the Club Suites there. It was ideal for us. We tried a 2-bedroom villa once with in-laws came with us -- those were ok, but we got hooked on the CS. Too bad they are gone, but it did push us to our new fav resort -- WL!

We've stayed at the Fairway Villas and we loved them with my parents came with us. I cant believe they are going to tear these down. Any way they can just move one to a piece of land for me.lol. I loved them.
