villain store

I thought I remembered a villain store located in MGM when I went 7 years ago. (I love the villains more than I do the princesses) Can anyone tell me if this still exists or if I am just making things up in my head?

It still exists..we fo there every year, not sure on the exact location but it was still there last October.

Yes, it is still there. When you go in MGM, you come to an intersection where you can continue strait towards the big hat, or turn right to go towards ToT. The store is almost on that corner. Turn right at the intersection (by the ride time board) and go maybe 50 yards....it's on your left.

When we were there in January the store had about half as much merchandise in it than it had our last trip (last year). The candy store was taking over. I was bummed.

It's one of my favorite stores, but it's so tiny.

I have to agree with the above poster. I wish they'd add more merchandise like it was in the past. We can get candy most anywhere on property, but there are no other villain stores (that I am aware of).

It's the only store I can totally talk DH into buying something in! I'm really surprised they don't do more with the villians. They're starting to do more with Nightmare before Christmas, I want more Haunted Mansion and Villain stuff. I think i need to go during Halloween

Depends on your definition of "good selection," but it's really the only place you'll find more than one or two things with her.

I assume you meant Maleficient, but they have a little with all the villians. They carry more of Mal by herself than the other villians. The store has a lot of stuff that has "all" of the villians grouped together.

Yeah, I also have a "thing" for the villains. On our last trip in 2002, I looked all over for something...anything...with Gaston on it for my sister (also a villain lover) and could only find a coffee mug with all the villains at that little shop in MGM. I'm really disappointed to hear that they've got even less merchandise now.

Come on Disney...give us our villains!!!

On the guide map it is listed as "The Beverly Sunset".....Disney villains and Fantasmic gifts. Freshly made candy.

Used to be one of my favorite stores, but I've lost my enthusiasm as they have had less and less merchandise.

I LOVED this store when we were there last. it's not many places i can find Scar items, and the CM there even asked if he could buy the hat I was wearing that was ancient and filthy but was an old Scar WDW hat.

it's a shame if the stock is going down.

oooh, I'll keep my eyes open then. last trip all the LK stuff they had anywhere but the Villians store was Simba and Nala, and a lot of that was in the broadway style . . . not that I mind the broadway style but considering that you're not at the Broadway show . . . .

The items in the store leave a lot to be desired. I was there in May and was very disappointed.

Thanks everyone! I am sad that the merchandise is nill but I am hoping that it may be better since I am going during MNSSHP. Ill keep my fingers crossed.

One of my favorite stores. Sorry to hear the merchandise is lacking these days. Some of my best souveniers have been from this store. Love my villians beach towel especially.

I too have been really bummed with the decline in merchandise. Some of my favorite Disney purchases (my villains mug that sits on my desk at work, my Ursula pjs, etc) have come from that store and lately they haven't had anything that caught my eye.

Also, my dad's absolute favorite Disney character is Gaston. They have no merchandise with just him anywhere!!! Even the Villains store in its heyday. Can't we show Gaston some love too????

Evil Queen items are hard to find in WDW. I have had more success on ebay and in retail stores at home. However you can get an evil queen embroidered on items at the embroidery shop. I wish they had a better selection of blanks to chose from however.

grinningghost, I have the villains beach towel, too. I was hoping to get a new "updated" version on this trip...doesn't sound likely, though.
