Villa rental for 8 nights?

Hi,

Wonder if anyone has any experience of renting a villa home with pool for 8 nights - we will need a Sat - Sun stay, or if we can't get our split stay at AK sorted possibly 9nights.

After much research we have decided on either Emerald Island, Windsor Hills or Windsor Palms - popular places so I am guessing probably little flexibility from the Sat - Sat night stays

While the West Kissimmee Area is popular, you should have no problems with an 8 night stay unless it is for easter etc, just ask for a few quotes.

We're staying at Windsor Hills next month Tuesday until Monday (first time there)...there seem to be only a few owners who insist on Sat-Sat stays and there are many, many rental homes to choose from.
Start at VRBO.com and go from there, you can also put up a query at windsorhillsrent.com and you will get offers by email, but some people who reply don't read your actual dates first and may or may not have what you want.
The location of Windsor Hills is a stone's throw from AK and it's going to be much less expensive for you.

We booked a W - W in June without too much problem - and while some owners had Sat - Sat only policies, we found plenty of owners willing to accomodate our schedule. A Sat to Sun stay should be reasonably easy to arrange. If an owner has two back-to-back weeks available, most are not going to turn down an 8 night confirmed booking. The villa rental market is very competitive. Besides, it still leaves them a 6 night Sun - Sat rental if they (MC) can service it on Sun check out.

We also did an 8 night stay last July in a brand new home in Windsor Hills. I found a few homes that wanted to stick to Sat - Sat rentals but the majority of owners who responded were very open to it.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding a house for your trip. I used the www.windsorhillsrent.com website for my inquiry.

My advice would be to decide what size home you're looking for first, then put out a "targeted" inquiry on www.windsorhillsrent.com.

If you put out a "general" inquiry it will go out to 100s of homeowners, and you will get bombarded with email. If you put out a 3 bedroom inquiry, etc, it will go out to just the owners who have the size home you need, so first, figure out which sized home you need!

We have a villa in Terra Verde and rent for any number of nights. If you rent for less than 7 nights you pay the clean fee instead of it being included. I can't see why you should have a problem.

We have done 8 , 9, and 10 nights in EI and WH. Surprisingly (especially if you are familiar with other markets: Cape Cod, any ski resort area east or west, lakes regions in New England, etc.), it is not hard to find an owner willing to work with your dates. Good luck!
