Villa Rental? (First Post!)

Hi everybody,

I'm new to this forum - have been to Orlando twice before, most recently in December 2008 on honeymoon! We're looking to book a villa in Orlando for June 2010, preferbaly one that is as close to the Universal parks as possible. Any ideas? We've not much interest in going to any of the Disney parks.

Welcome and Congradulations. You might have more luck in the Budget Boards instead of here. Check out vrbo.com that's the only place we rent a villa from had great luck. Your not really more than 10 miles approx from anything in most areas.

Hello Andrew, and welcome!

You'll find many, many threads in the Orlando Hotels & Attractions section here (do a search) but here's a link to their Hotel & Accommodations Reviews section which might be helpful and give you even more ideas as you make your decision on where to stay http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=126 . You may realize a condo or resort will suit your need too, instead.

From what I also understand, the majority of the rental homes are located in Kissimmee which is closer to the Disney area, but as PO6 stated, EVERYTHING is not far and I consider to be centrally located. I think the only rentals currently closest to the USO area are Vista Cay Resort http://www.vistacayresort.com/ (could be more by now). This place looks FABULOUS and I plan to rent here in the future (click the link in my signature to see where we're staying next...we're also returning June 2010, after 5 yrs. ).
