Villa Locations

Last villa i stayed in was at Southern Dunes, which was a lovely complex, with lots of amenities on the doorstep(wallmart, plenty of food outlets in walking distance) but it was rather far from the parks.

So give me some recommendations people! Doesnt need to be a specific villa, just a complex. Probably looking for a villa to sleep 10-12 though if anybody knows of a good one anywhere.

I haven't stayed there but Formosa Gardens springs to mind as being close and with some large villas in the complex. You need JohnnySharp - he is good on villa recommendations!

weve stayed at windsor hills and emerald island, both nice resort both very close to the parks.
we always book pool homes. x

Hi,

Personally prefer a location around Kissimmee, just off the 192.

2 main areas, Formosa Gardens with developments such as Windsor Palms, Emerald Island, Windsor Hills and Indian Creek.
Poinciana Boulevard with Terre Verde, Cumbrian Lakes and Eagle Pointe.

Some of the above are gated resorts with communal pools, internet cafe's etc - it all depends on what you are looking for really.
Most are well located for Disney, supermarkets, restaurants and I4.

Terre Verde is where we stay at next year.

Southern Dunes is quite southerly, the map below gives a good idea - I can recommend several villas especially at many of the communities I list above - let me know if you want some links.
