Views of the BWV?

We like to stay at the BC, however next year we are going to give BWV a try. I see that there are standard view and preffered view villas unlike the BC. I would mind spending less points if the difference is just the view. The questions are: 1) Does anyone know of a site where I can check out the locations of the sv villas as opposed to the PV? 2) Is the difference really worth the price in points?

standard view are hard to get. very hard - so if you aren't a dvc member - go find one.

these need to be made 11 months in advance. there might a cancellation but don't count on one.

Really, I was thinking the preferred would be harder. Anyway I am DVC member but do not own at BW so I have to wait for the 7 months window to open. That is not until April. Thanks

several of us - have tried preferred and definitely like standard better - because of the lower point costs.

only 20% of the rooms are standard.

for information - one year was trying to get Thanksgiving called day by day - called at opening each morning - expect one day called about 15 minutes late - all the standard view were gone - went on the wait list and it did come through
