Can anyone suggest good viewing spots for the MGM Stars & Motor Cars or the Jammin'Jungle Parade at AK?

Thanks!!!

Anywhere on Hollywood Blvd. is good. We sat down about 35 min. before the parade and had a great seat.

For AK parade - I like to be by Safari. In December, once parade passed by I jumped on Safari. When I got off, I was able to watch parade come by again.

Anywhere as long as you see the parade.

Technically, I am not sure which street you would be on, but for the stars and cars parade, near the big Mickey hat the parade makes a right hand turn onto the street that leads to the park entrance. I found the outside of that turn was excellant for video taping. With all the kids infront sitting and me in the back standing, I had a straight shot of all the approaching cars and can follow each one to the turn without a lot of annoying zooming in and out. Had some good closeups when some of the walking characters came over to see the kids.

We got ice cream and found a bench at the intersection of Hollywood and Sunset, and it was great. I was able to take photos from the bench, didn't even have to stand since all those in the front row have to be sitting. We had not planned to watch the parade, but when we saw the bench, it seemed like a good thing!!!

The one time we watched the parade at AK, we had a spot right outside of the Safari entrance at the beginning of the parade. Right near the food stand. It was great, as we could see them coming out of the back lot. We have to make time to see the parade again!!! It's been too long!

I agree about the benches at MGM. We like to sit right by the park entrance. The benches go right up to the curb, so you don't have to sit on the hard ground and no one can sit in front of you! It's probably the best seat I've found for a Disney parade. My sister and I usually get tired around 1:30 - 2, so we grab a bench and rest, then switch off for snacks or to go through shops, and we have a perfect spot for the parade.
