We like to stand dead-center on Main Street. I know a ton of others do it too. But the fireworks are typically designed to be centered for viewing from there.

When we were there last weekend, there were tons of people lining the paths to the right of the castle, towards Torrowland. The problem with that area is that the high fireworks are off to your right, and the lower fireworks that frame the castle are not as far to the right. It is hard to explain.

We are planning on watching Wishes from the beach at the Poly, with dinner after at O'Hana's. I can not get my DH to agree to be in the MK at the time of Fireworks  That said, does anyone know if they "pipe in" the narration to Wishes (I SOOO hope they do!) Thanks in Advance

I was there last week, and had a great view of Wishes from just in front of the Crystal Palace. Sure, they weren't centered on the castle, but they were great!!!

Last weekend I sat behind the castle near Dumbo. Not a good place. Since some of the show is launched right at the castle, you had to keep turning back and forth.

I agree! They are great! They really created some amazing effects with the combination of low level and high level fireworks.

Hi everyone!:wave2:

I made ressies at CG last week, when I spoke w/ the CM he told the show begins at 6PM on the day of my ressie. (We have 5:30 ressies)...would CG be a good place to view WISHES? and is that time correct for WISHES? (6:00 or 6:30PM?)

Thanks!:teeth:

That is another thing! About 30 minutes before the show, they close off some paths immediately around the castle. I noticed that they turned on the irrigation system in that area. Holly suggested that they were wetting down the area, because of the lower level fireworks and the Pixie Dust that falls into the foliage. Could be!

We were there last weekend, and we were among the people lining the path towards Tomorrowland. You might think that is a perfect place to watch, as there is a big open space, and you can see the castle clearly. We had a great view of Tinkerbell. However, the majority of the fireworks were off to our right, and obscured by trees. Next time we'll be looking for a different spot!

The best compromise between good viewing and slow crowd build was the walkway in front of Casey's leading to Main St (near the information board). I brought a towel and plopped down right next to the railing. It was also a great place from which to take pictures of the fireworks (down low, lens through the railings).

I met a lovely family from Minneapolis. There were a few mosquitoes from the canal, but it was great.

You'll definately want to be in front of the castle.

BTW, the large tree that used to shade the Information Board on Main St has been cut down. A CM told me it was removed due to guest complaints that it blocked the view of the fireworks (old or new show, not sure). Too bad. It was a nice tree.

How is right in front of the castle? My DD 4 is in love with Tinkerbell, so seeing her fly is a MUST! Will we get a good view of all the fireworks? Any suggestions?

We were one of the families on the paths between Tomorrowland and the castle. Don't get too close to the castle; it will block the view of many of the fireworks. We like the Tomorrowland side for an excellent view of Tink (witch during MNSSHP) even tho the fireworks weren't centered on the castle. I thought this was a fine location. DD wants the centered view next time and plans to wait on Main Street. If you don't mind waiting, I bet the train station is super too.

Hi everyone,

I just got off the phone w/ the CM w/ Dining and they told me that there is no firework/Wishes show on the 16th of Dec!

So my ressies at CF really won't be much difference! The CM was nice enough to tell me that w/ WISHES, its not the same if viewed from anywhere other than MK. B/c the fireworks is just part of the show...w/ story telling, music, etc. I asked him if Main St. was a good spot and he told me its better to be a little elevated, and he suggested the train station on Main St.

Hope this helps everyone. I guess, I'm just gonna cancel the PS for CG :( , since you have to be at MK to experience WISHES.

Have fun everyone! :teeth: :wave2: :teeth:

We were there a couple of weeks ago and we stood near the railing around the little park across the train station. We had a great view because by standing near the railing, no one can stand directly in front of you and you have a clear view. There is a tree there so we stood a little right of the tree facing the castle. Course, there were lots of people around us. That week the park was extremely crowded. I've never seen it that crowded in Oct. before. We've been going at that time of the year for about 5 years and this is the first year it's been wall to wall people. Still had a great time but didn't spend as much time in the parks as we usually do.

When they originally released December hours, they had Wishes at 6:00pm on MVMCP nights. Later they took them off. So that's what happened to your date, it's a MVMCP night.
