Hi. Daughter is on her way to the park. Her train will arrive right around closing time. Her flight is scheduled to land at cdg at 5:30pm. She has tgv tickets for 7:04pm but I'm hoping she can trade in for earlier train. Question: will they be able to view the fireworks from tgv station at dl? They're staying at sequoia lodge and best case scenario they would be catching the 5:48, 6:09 or 6:48pm train so probably no time to go to hotel, check in, get tickets and make it back to park in time for show? Any chance she can see outside the park upon train arrival, or by walking towards park from train station? They have no luggage. Just backpacks. Thanks, Kim

Are you talking about tonight ?

It's pouring down here, has been for the past 2 days, so she'd be better off going to the hotel and watching it tomorrow.

Otherwise the only place you can really see it from outside the park is from the roof of the Disney Village Vinci parking. It's a 3 storey building which gives you a good view but you don't hear any sound of course. :)

I agree with Carrie Cat. There's no point hurrying to get there just to try and get glimpse of Dreams from a distance. You can see bits of Dreams from a few areas outside the parks but only from a long way away and you can't hear anything. If it were me I would go and check in, find something to eat and get an early night ready for the next day when she can enjoy the full effects of the show from a good spot.

Yes, tonight. Thank you for the response. I felt guilty as they're missing an evening in the park because I hadn't realized the park closed so early. It's their first visit. I'm so excited for them!!!

Really they aren't missing anything as it's cold and miserable :sad2:

They can get settled in, go for a meal, look round Disney Village, have a cocktail or 2 and be in fine form for EMH tomorrow :thumbsup2

Just an update: the were able to get in an earlier train, 5:58 pm, which is pretty good considering their flight landed at 5:30. They didn't have to trade tickets in for earlier tgv train. The conductor let them on, I assume the train was not too busy. They saw some fireworks from their room.

Great stuff :thumbsup2
