View MK Firworks near Contemporary Hotel

We are dining at Chef Mickey's on August 5th at 8:10. We don't want to waste a ticket going into MK to view the fireworks. Where is the best place to view the fireworks near the Contemporary?

I read on a board that the Grand Floridian's boat dock is a good spot.

Another spot mentioned was on the 4th floor concourse in the Contemporary. I have never heard of this has anyone else? If so where is it?

What are some of your suggestions?

The observation deck is on the same level as Chef Mickey's....other end of the building. BTW, I used to live/work in Fishkill...small world.

There is a nice little strip of beach that runs along the lagoon by the Polynesian. The music for the fireworks is piped in, if you are closer to the pool/marina area.

yes, but when I watched the show there in june it wasnt to loud. When everyone who was there watching (about 20 people) was talking it kind of blocked the music out... but it was still really cool

if you get there about 30mins early, they have benches that you can pull up to the corner of the balcony
