Very nice video there (and good video quality too.) The Soarin' music really goes well with it too.

Thanks for the link. This is a great preview for our upcoming trip. I'm curious as to what camera you used for these shots. You seem to get nice quality in the darker shots...not too grainy.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff.. I am using a Sony DCR-PC55E which has a good carl zeiss lense on it.. However I use Ulead videostudio 9.1 to edit(not that hard to use , just keep practicing) which has a mass of tools which allow you to play with exposure etc (you can even increase exposure in just one area of the frame)...This is great when filming inside "dark rides" eg Peter Pan , Monsters Inc etc where UV lights are used a lot.

Great. Thanks for the info Danny. My Hi-8 camera is a bit on the bulky side compared to your PC55E. We'll probably stick to mostly stills with a few videos from our Sony P200 digital camera, rather than carry the vid cam around. The video quality isn't great on the P200, especially in low light, but thanks for the tip on using VideoStudio to play with the exposure.

Just looked at your webshots of California! The food looks amazing...where did you dine?
Also, loved your video!...can't wait to go!!!!

We dined at Catal...In DtD

which was fantastic

and at the Vineyard restaurant in CA which was good, though it wins the "which idiot thought having an evening dinner restaurant, that is open to the elements in winter, is a good idea award".... If you go in the evening in winter make sure your near a heater... Good lamb shank though, but nowhere near Catals standards and ambience..

Loved your video of DL/CA. I've only been there once and seeing your video with the Soarin' music gave be chills and made me want to cry at the same time - in a good way! :thumbsup2
