I'm finding the Video recording capabilities of the new 60D to be excellent - with one exception - the onboard (mono) microphone. Easy enough to take care of - add an off-camera mic (stereo) or sound recorder.
My questions to those that use their DSLRs to record Video: 1) Do you record your audio totally independently of the camera and sync it up later with the video?, or 2) Assuming you added an external mic to feed the DSLR for your audio - have you found that you need to reset your audio levels often - like between recording a parade and a show for example (I don't like automatic gain - rarely use it)?
