We are contemplating a trip to DL. We have a WDW video and a cruise video that was sent to us free when we were planning our first trips there. Is this a possibility for DL? If so, where can I get it?
Thanks for your help.

If you go to the Disneyland website, you can click on an icon for a Disney Parks DVD (covers both DL and DW). It took us a few weeks to get, but it's fun to watch!! :flower1:

Yep I just sent in for this one, assuming it's different now that the 50th is over. I always enjoy watching them before our trip when were planning it! Even though I know DL inside out, I still think of things I want to do from watching the video! :)

Just be prepared to wait a long time to receive the video. We waited way over a month for ours to arrive. Luckily, there was still time to enjoy it before our trip.

Yes it is different than the 50th one (the one with the four young people who took you through the parks). I really liked it and liked the fact they had a nice section on Disneyland too. We love watching our planning DVD's. I still have the Disneyland one I got before our first trip in 2003. Its fun to look back and see all the changes.

Actually it is completely DL. There are parts for DW also. This according to the description.

I have it in front of me, and it is a "Disney Parks" DVD. This is different from the last WDW one (with the four hosts) and the DL one (with the retro-cartoonish menus and music). It's the same regardless of which website you order from (DL or WDW). When you get the DVD and you get to the main menu, there are two sections, one for DL and one for WDW. The website describes it as "Complete tours of both the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida and the Disneyland® Resort in California".

When we received the DVD last year, there was a 20% discount coupon enclosed. Did that come along this year.

Not with mine, but we're in New York -- maybe they offer that sort of thing for people who live closer to DL?

I live about 1300 miles so it sounds like the coupon is not with it.

Thanks,

I apologise, I dont have the dvd yet so I dont know what is exactly on it. I was just going by what the website said.

Thanks!

No problem... have a great trip next month! :cheer2:

The web-site says it will take 2-3 wks to arrive but I wouldn't be surprised if that translates to a month as mentioned above. We're going in early March so I just hope I get it before then-mainly to get my kids excited.

The last Cdn one had a coupon too. This one definitely doesn't -- I think because they combined the WDW and DLR parks. There wasn't even a brochure describing ticket prices, probably due to the constant price raises. ;)
