Video of our trip to Disneyland Paris (DLP)

For those of you who are interested here's a video montage of the best bits of our summer trip in July '06 to Disneyland Paris.

This montage was only my 2nd attempt at a video project and the footage was mainly shot on my digital cameras (Canon S3 IS and Sony T9) as opposed to my video camcorder - digicams are so much easier to carry around the parks!

Any feedback is gratefully received!

Loved your DLP montage. I've 3 hours worth of DLP video from last summer that will keep me occupied now that I have just learned how to copy them across to the computer for editing
If I get 1/2 as good as yours I'll be more than pleased

What can i say - Just wonderful- the characters with your children,its lovely to watch. Really nice to see some vids too i havent seen many. I've been meaning to do one of our nye trip but just havent got round to it- as i promised i'd do my niece a scrapbook.

You most certainly can. First of all you need to get your footage from the tapes onto your computer - this process is called "capture". Most often this is done by connecting your camcorder to your PC using a Firewire (a.k.a. iLink) cable and then using video editing or capturing software to retrieve the footage and store it on your PC.

Most video editing packages will take care of the capturing process right down to the Microsoft's Windows Movie Make (free and available to download from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/moviemaker/default.mspx)

That's one of my favourite bits too. Both of our kids really adore the characters and love spending time with them. I think that comes across in the video!
