Video was released February 24th

She provides a summary of the current status of Carnival.

I'll summarize in case anyone doesn't have time to watch it: They still don't know when cruises will return. They don't know if vaccines will be required when it does return. They are building a new ship and they have some kind of new food disposal systems they are installing. Bookings for 2022 are "solid." And that's pretty much it.

MVP right here. Thanks for summarizing!

Of course bookings for 2022 are "solid". There are a lot of FCCs that need to be used.

The OBC offer when you rebook is also very interesting (300$ per cabin for 5 nights or less, 600$ per cabin for 6 nights+).

Thanks for the post.

Although I usually prefer a DCL cruise over a Carnival Corp. one, I appreciate the effort to communicate put forth by that company’s President.
It appears that this is for crew members. Not sure how it became public. It's very possible DCL has been communicating with it's crew members and we just don't know about it.

Too funny. The picture has the words “To our crew members” at the top. Then she addresses them, both onboard and on land. I must have half listened, and thought those people on land were us, the cruising public.

I still wouldn’t mind some word, any word, spoken my DCL to address / acknowledge that they exist. Especially since they have thousands of our dollars (I mean, my personal dollars). They could let us know if The second island development is totally panned or is in limbo, etc. ... Maybe only stockholders get this info ??

DCL has some loyal cruisers who might like to be remembered.

It's on youtube. You know, a public platform.

Alright, Captain Snarkypants, I know how YouTube works. ;) I meant more, why the heck is it ON a public platform if it was only for crew members.

EDIT: Okay, going to the actual video on YouTube it looks like some random dude slapped it up there. So really it's sort of a leaked type situation.

My apologies.. My coffee hadn't kicked in yet when I posted it...it was in jest but I'm sorry for being crass anyway.
