No, it is on the lagoon inside of Universal Studios. There seem to be lots of great places to watch.

This past Saturday we watched it in front of the Simpsons ride, that was a nice spot. I would say anywhere along the simpsons side or on the otherside where San Fransisco is by Lombards would be good too
