Just got myself a new digital camcorder and was thinking I could take it to HHN one night since we are going three times.

I would only assume, out of common sense, that it can't be taken on rides and in the houses themselves (or rather I wouldnt want to take them in a house) but do they discourage taping around the park in general and more so in shows like Bill and Teds?

Yeah, I see YouTube videos but didn't know if the people taping were actually supposed to be doing so. I don't want to sit there trying to hide a camcorder for something as silly as a show.

Thanks for any info :)

I think the official rule is no videotaping. I even had a problem taking pictures outside of a house last year. People do it so if you can get away with it....

You're right...nothing in the houses or attractions.

The houses def not.The shows have camera police looking for people filming.Only the stealthy ones get away with it.I dont know what they do if they catch you.The scarezones are fine for filming..

Official from PR
"We encourage pictures at the event, however, inside the houses we do not allow any photography or videotaping. Photographs are allowed during the shows but not videotaping."
I have a digital pns, so its nothing for me to take a few seconds of video....just not the whole damn thing.

When I was there last year I was told absolutely no video or photography at the shows. I knew not at the houses, but when I tried to videotape the Bill and Ted show I was told I had to put it away. Which was okay. Then a while later I figured I would get a picture of the show, since others around me where taking photos, but as soon as I pulled it out I was told no photos either. I explained to them it would not be flash, but they said no photos can be taken at all. We were able to tape the scare zones, but that's it. Hope this helps.
