Video about Disneyland Railroad -- running on french fry oil!?!

Another cool video about how Disneyland's trains are running on recycled french fry oil now. Could a change like this work at WDW?

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruise ships run on biofuel!!! ...have for years, most cruiselines do.

On our last cruise on the Radiance of the Seas....at the Captain's round-table (whatever it's called where we ask questions)..someone asked what the "gas mileage" was for the ship. HaHa

He explained it's about ---- feet to the gallon (they measure fuel by the ton not the gallon). He DID say their ships have the option to use fuel oil or biofuel. He also said they were using biofuel in Alaska.....and he "stops at every McDonalds he sees on the cruise!".

If cruise ships can do it....why can't we?

They NEED it on the parking trams...sometimes I make the mistake of sitting in the front car and nearly choke on the fumes

I agree with the trams (although I don't use them often....when I do...whew!)

Why stop with trams, how about all the busses which run on property.....those smelly little racetrack cars in tomorrowland - service vehicles backstage....the list is endless.

Hey, disney sells enough fried food.....they are making their own fuel!!! haha

How interesting. I'm sure America has enough french fry oil to create enough fuel for all busses, trams, and trains here.
