Question. If you order a large Pizza what do you do with the leftovers? I plan on eating there in Sept. I know I could order a small Pizza, but the joys of cold Pizza for breakfast..... So do you just walk around EPCOT with a Pizza Box? I assume they won't ship it back to your resort? Or perhaps just plan to eat late right before you leave?

I tried twice to take it back but after an hr or so I was just afraid it might not be a good idea and ended up dumping it. I have been tempted to take some foil and a cooler bag with a small ice pack and haven't done that (now that could work)...or just schedule it last (which I know is tough to do) before you plan to leave the park.

Thanks so much, I would hate to leave it, not sure if I could finish it. An hour would be a long time in the heat/humidity. Perhaps just order the smaller size and hope for the best?

While inconvenient to carry, cooked pizza isn't going to go bad very quickly. My college research suggests it can be out for a couple days and not cause anything major.

But you will have to carry it.

No, I would almost order maybe 2 smaller sized pizzas (large) so you can try different flavors, but from a cost standpoint it is a better value to do a mezzo metro which is the largest (rectangular). (but you need to check with your server if you're on the dining plan)

They don't have pizza boxes. They have the styrofoam boxes and the pizza doesn't fit well.
We go at the end of the night and straight back to our room. It goes right in the fridge til breakfast. I would never carry it around long

Restaurants always have conflicting reviews/opinions. We've eaten the pizza at VN on 3 trips and it's been delicious every time.

VN doesn't have pizza boxes so they will give you small styrofoam containers. We usually have Ziploc bags with us to put the styrofoam containers in and a tote or bag to carry lthem back to our room. While not a problem with pizza, if you have any leftovers that require forks or other utensils the restaurant does not have plasticware.

I hope you do! Many people say they do. We had high hopes because we love authentic Neapolitan pizza, but both of ours tasted like burnt, rancid oil. I hope it was just an off night.

Get a reservations after Illuminations and take it straight back to your resort after. That way you don't have to deal with the big crowds exiting Epcot either. Win-win!

I've only done this at Narcosees and CG though when we ordered more apps than we could possibly eat and had a tapas buffett left over!

Is this something new, although it's been a while since we last tried to take home our leftovers they did put them in a pizza box?

Good Idea. It's a late dinner, but your in EPCOT. Not like we can't snack around the world till Illuminations starts, then have pizza. I like it.
