4 Adults, adventurous eaters...we will have just been off of a 3 night cruise (not Disney....:scared1:). I have eaten at EVERY other WS restaurant except these 2 and now I only have time for one of these on an upcoming trip...if you have been to both, which do you suggest? I have looked over both menus and they both look interesting!!

There is more "adventure" to be found at TI. VN is, at its core, a pizzeria.

AND my husband just looked at the menus and decided neither sounded too exciting....ugh. Now he wants to go to Marrakesh. We haven't been in almost 10 years but he thought our traveling companions would like it. What is a planner to do!!!???

What is a planner to do!!!???

The planner hopes that the rest of the group understands just how difficult planning an assault on WDW is. The landing at Normandy had nothing on planning a Disney vacation. In our house "D-Day" has come to mean, the landing at Disney!:rotfl: (No offense to the real D-Day heros. My dad landed at Omaha beach.)

So you plan away in hopes that others understand that you must not let "perfect" become the enemy of "good enough".

We went to Marakesh in 2008, and it's the ONLY WDW restaurant we did not like (and we've been to a lot of them). The service was rude, and the food was not fresh.

Though, we haven't tried either VN or TI, but we are trying TI this coming trip.

If you want Italian and you are adventurous, I'd suggest skipping WS and go to Il Mulino at the Swan, a short walk from Epcot. It's so much better than what you are going to get inside Epcot.

We ate at VN 3 times last month..it was awesome!

We enjoy TI as well but I think we prefer VN

We have been to both restaurants and enjoyed them. While VN is pretty much a pizza place, it does have other entrees as well. We just had pizza, so can't comment on the other options. For your group I would suggest TI as the better option. The menu there is more adventurous than at VN, although some of the pizza toppings are rather unique.

As far as Marrakesh, it's been many years since we ate there. It is not one of our family favorites, but certainly someplace we would go back to. It would be a fine place for adventurous eaters.

As another poster suggested, Il Molino might be worth a try. I've heard a lot of good things about that restaurant. It's on the list of places we want to try on our next trip. ::MinnieMo

Our family enjoyed Tutto Italia very much. We ordered the lasagna, veal and Chianti ravioli and the veal roast - all very good! We're trying Via Napoli for the first time in a few months. If you end up going there please post what you think of it!

We just did Via Napoli. Dh had pizza. I had the eggplant parm. I will do a complete review, but lets just say we both dont want to return and would go back to Tutto Italia in a heartbeat. So much better.

On our last trip, we had Tutto Italia reservations, but looked at the Via Napoli menu and decided to try that instead. We very much regretted that decision afterwards. My wife had the pizza, which was okay. My chicken parm came with this "spaghetti torte" thing which was this hard inedible thing. (My wife said it was like "spaghetti pie" she had in the past). The chicken parm itself was "so so". After trying one bite, my wife said "you like that?" (as if no human actually could.) The appetizers were bad. The dessert (alleged zeppole) was terrible. Oh, and the only thing worse than the food was the service.

The two times we've been to Tutto Italia, the food, service, everything was great. We really wished we stuck with Tutto.

Tutto was our best meal of our last trip, lasagna was fantastic and I donot even like lasagna, meatballs again fantastic, desserts Yummo. So worth going, service was the best out of all our places we dined , and we dined alot in two weeks, I cannot wait to go back. We have not tried VN.

My family ate at both TI and VN earlier month and liked both. As others have said, VN is at heart a pizzeria, so if you like pizza then that is a good choice. I had the calamari for an appetizer and loved it. Tender inside and crispy outside with a very yummy tomato dipping sauce. I also had the prosciutto and melon pizza which was very good. I'd order both again without hesitation.

Over at TI the pasta dishes were very good and desserts were absolutely amazing. That's my favorite part of eating at TI - the desserts. I had the chocolate torte cake which was very good.

As for Marrakesh, it's been so long I don't really remember it so I can't offer any food comparison.

One bit of advice might be to decide between TI and VN and make that ADR. That way you have an choice. From what I noticed earlier this month, Marrakesh seemed to have availability whereas TI/VN was more difficult to get. So when you get there you can make a spot decision and if you opt not to go to TI/VN, cancel that ADR and go to Marrakesh, but if you decide you want TI/VN you have the ADR.
