Via Napoli or F&G Festival booths for lunch?

Trying to plan our spring break dining as our 180 day window opens on Sunday. We plan to do Garden Grill for breakfast pre-park opening so we don't want a huge lunch. I was thinking of eating around 1:30ish. Would you choose Via Napoli or just eat from the F&G food booths for lunch? We will likely leave shortly after lunch. We've never eaten at Via Napoli. I know it is popular but it seems like we can get pizza anywhere. I feel like we should try it once though. But F&G booths will give us more variety and let us sample more. Our kids are 11, 9, and 7 and only the 7 yo is slightly picky. The other 2 will eat almost anything.

We have a 2nd day planned at Epcot where we will do Teppan Edo (one of our favorites!) for lunch if that matters for the decision.

Thanks!

If I was having breakfast at Garden grill I would rather eat from the booths than have another sit down meal.

It sounds like you'd rather do the booths, so you should probably go with that.

I will say this, though--our family loves Via Napoli's pizza above any we've ever had. But it does tend to fill you up.

I would vote for the booths. The GG breakfast will be filling but you can taste around the booths the rest of the day rather than worrying about being hungry enough to enjoy Via Napoli.

My husband and I had the same debate for our trip this past May. We decided to do each one on different days. We weren't all too impressed with the food booths but it was a lot of fun to try different sample sizes of the food. We like trying new things even if we don't like them bc it is a fun adventure. However, Via Napoli is the best pizza I have had since having authentic Italian pizza in Italy and now we have it booked for our trip next month because we loved it so much (and we will be there during F&W this time). Hands down our winner was Via Napoli. It's really personal preference though.

We'll do maybe 2 TS meals on a 9 to 10 day WDW stay during F&W, most of our chow comes from 'Grazing Around the World' and our kitchenette at Board Walk.

Agree with most of the above - go with the booths. Especially if you're having a big breakfast.

DH & I were there for the F&G last year & really enjoyed the booths. I would skip Via Napoli (even though we do like it) & hit the booths, it's a fun time wandering along & picking a little something here & there. We picked up the passport & had fun checking off the items we tried. The BBQ booth in the American Pavilion was our favorite. Enjoy your trip!

Figure that the food samples at each booth average $6. So that's $30 for each round of items that you purchase for your family of 5. It adds up quickly. Just did F&W with a party of 5 (adults) and it was the most expensive trip, foodwise, that we have ever done. Via Napoli would definitely be the cheaper option.

This is very true - Via Napoli is always our cheapest table service meal by far, and we love it. If cost is an important factor then I would keep this in mind. If not, I think I'd try the booths once.

With kids that age, I think the best bang for the buck is Via Napoli.

Grab thr ADR while it's available. You can change your mind later. And Via Napoli level pizza is not available elsewhere.
