VGF Resort studios reservations questions

Hi
We currently have a one-night reservation for a studio at BLT in August.
We would like to switch to VGF or PVB. I am stalking availability but so far no such luck... Then I just read this on DVC website:

Existing Members with a home resort at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Members that added-on at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa may begin booking the new Resort Studios on 3/14/2022 by calling Member Services. Members with other home resorts may begin booking Resort Studios on 5/13/2022 through DisneyVactionClub.com or by calling Member Services.

If I bought resale, will I still be able to book Resort Studios at VGF?
And does that mean a pool of Resort Studios will open up on the DVC website on May 13?
If the answer to both questions is Yes, I will stop stalking the site for cancellations!!

I am also checking and waiting for May …
also keeping track of online info …
DVC has declared 50% of new resort when sales opened (?)
and total room count overall will be 84 standard studios ,
90 lake view, 28 theme park … according to some online estimates.
Not feeling very lucky but will try anyway. I also have BLT for my holdiday plans confirmed but a brand new resort would be nice !

You may have a good shot! So I called Member Services on March 14th to book a resort studio for 3 nights for marathon weekend and chose the standard view (I am a GF owner). When I called member services again this week to inquire about booking another set of studios for the same weekend for my sister, I was told all three views still had availability (standard, lake view and theme park view). I thought for sure marathon weekend would have sold them out as it's a pretty busy time so I hope you get what you are looking for. Good luck!!

I booked some random nights in June, and member services said she showed some code that showed more than ten rooms available!

When should the reservations open for the studios on the 13th? At 8:00AM for all dates within 7 months or midnight or something else?
do you think that morning be a mad dash and the DVC site will crash, or do you think they will open the dates gradually to avoid extra traffic on the page on that specific morning?

I would love to switch our Wine and Dine HM weekend from the poly to GF, and since I know it will be a busy weekend I want to try as early as I can!

It's unknown if online booking will begin at 8 am when the booking system rolls to the next day or not. Whenever it does open online, all future dates will be available subject to regular booking windows.

I assume the plan is that at 8 a.m. east coast time on 5/13/22, the VGF resort studios will be available online to all members for 7 month bookings and as with all things involving DVC tech there will be crashes resulting in long phone line waits at 9 a.m.. But, maybe it’ll roll out smoothly & surprise me .
