VGF room 1510 studio LO lake view
We love the VGF but the studio has no storage for a long stay. you get 2 drawers and a closet. :goodvibes Poor set up if you have 2A and 2C. I guess we could make it work for 2A. I use the pullout to see how it felt and it's very comfortable just wish people wouldn't screw with the couch pillows. Once you unzip them they won't stay on couch when you sit on it. They slide off front edge.
We have an otter in the lake below and good views of the Poly work.
The kitchen counter is very small about 2 feet shorter than BWV's. Coffee pot won't open unless you pull it out and turn it on edge of counter.
There is so much furniture in the studio it seems crowded. Table and 2 chairs and 2 coffee tables is a little to much for us.

Great pictures! We've got a couple of trips planned years out (kids' graduations) , but I can't wait to stay there.

Two questions from someone--me---who stayed in a studio there in December:
1. In the section of the bathroom with the stall shower, was there a hook to hang clothes?
2. Did the mini fridge have a freezer section?
And by the way, I had a standard view room, which seems to have had basically the same view you had--wedding pavillion to the right, the Poly, and then on the left (from the balcony) the Contemporary.
Thanks.

My December visit was spent in a lake view studio at VGF. The shower portion of the bathroom did not have a hook to hang clothes. Instead, I simply put my clothes on the vanity. There is a single hook, on the tub side, next to the toilet. Regarding the fridge, there was no freezer section. Although some cast members have claimed that the middle shelf is a freezer, there is no section in the fridge. There are discussions, in other posts, centered on the product description on the company website. Those who have researched the fridge's attributes have found that there is no mention of a freezer in this unit by the manufacturer.

Yes, a hook by the bathtub. So weird. I mentioned this to a Concierge person, and she was a little surprised, or pretended to be surprised anyway LOL.
I actually pulled out the mini fridge to find the model number. I looked on the manufacturer's website, and indeed, the product description does not mention a freezer area.
A Concierge person told me the same story, that it's the middle shelf. Which I think would be impossible, since the shelves are wire mesh, so there is nothing to contain the cold in that area. Therefore, when I turned the thermostat down, everything in the fridge froze.

Nice pics!!

I don't understand the drawer space either. There aren't drawers on both sides of the bed?

No, only the one side. The other side is too close to the wall, anyway. But the odd thing is, one of the "quirks" of the design of the rooms, is that why in a "luxury" resort did they think it was a good idea making you get down on your hands and knees to look into a draw? I don't know how the elderly or handicapped are supposed to use those draws!

With the table next to the bed, it looks like only one of the drawers is really accessible. I do not understand Disney's thinking on the storage space in the studios. The VGF studios sleep five. Where exactly are the occupants suppose to unpack? Two drawers that size are barely enough for one person, let alone 2, 3, 4, or 5. Is the presumption that we all like living out of our suitcases and opening and closing them several times each day? At least, before they put the drop down beds in, and took out the drawers under the TV, there was one drawer per person. Everyone has their pet peeves and room to unpack for a 5-7 day vacation is one of mine. I am sure it is nice to be able to sleep five, but that many people must trip over their belongings with so little room to unpack.

I was there alone and practically filled the two drawers, and I'm not exactly a clothes horse. I think two people would be very tight in the 2 drawers. Add in a couple of kids . . . no way. Very strange design choice.

5-7 days is a long trip for 5 people in a studio, maybe Disney assumed larger groups would only book studios for short stays.
