Has anyone had a chance to review the 2023 points chart at VGC ? I might be reading it incorrectly but it looks like they moved 2 weeks into more expensive travel periods, and made only one week less expensive. I thought it had to be an even "trade"?

A quick look, the second lowest season went from April 24-June 26 to April 16-June 25, so more days there. The points did not change in each season, so you would have to add up the days. Easter is April 17 in 2022, April 9 in 2023.

It looks like they took Jan 1-7 and moved it from the lowest season to the highest- quite a jump. They also took March 31-April 7 and moved it from the second highest season to the highest. The night of 12/22 was also moved from the second to lowest season to the highest season. The only lowering of season I see is moving April 16-24 from the second highest season down one season. So overall; 16 nights increased, 8 nights decreased, so a 8 night discrepancy. Again, I'm relatively new to DVC so I may be interpreting it incorrectly.

You have to also consider days of week. If a date in 2022 was weekend but now a weekday, it could things for a 1 to 1 trade of days.

Easter week has to be looked at. Plus you have to see point difference and not just days. For example if 16 days go up 1 point, but 8 go down 2 points, it’s a neutral move.

Thank you! I appreciate the explanation.
