Veteran's Day

We will be visiting the world this week, and will be joined by friends who are making their first WDW visit. Dad just returned from Iraq, and I was wondering if there were any special events anywhere in WDW planned to honor our servicemen/women on Friday. It would be a dream come true if they could be included, (like in the MK parade!!) Any suggestions on where to go, when to be there, how to get noticed/and chosen would be appreciated. They are staying at SOG, we are at the POP, and are arriving on Thursday. I would be grateful for any help or ideas anyone could give...(I already told mom to pack red, white, and blue clothes for the family to wear on Friday)...and I thank you in advance for the always wonderful advice given by DISer's. Magic Kingdom always does a special flag retreat ceremony (they do flag retreat everyday, but veterans day and memorial day are more extravegant). I will send you a PM with some more info that I think can help you.
