OK...here's the deal. Family of 4 (Me 45, wife 44, DD 18 and DS 12) have been to the world many times, including numerous stays at the Poly (our favorite) and a couple of Disney cruise/WDW trips.
However, here is one thing we have never done...Christmas at the world.
We have been blessed to visit during low seasons (our fav is the week of MLK day...2nd week of Jan or thereabouts). Here is what I would like from those of you who have visited during Christmas:
Anything you can think of that will spare us from making rookie mistakes. DOs and especially DON'Ts. What worked for you when you were there? What would you do differently? What can I do in the planning stages to make the visit better? Etc.
In exchange I will post a trip report (with many pictures) that will immerse you in what I am sure will be a combination of two of my favorite things.. Disney and Christmas! Let me tell you the set up:
This time we will be joined by my father-in-law/mother-in-law, and brother-in-law, his wife and two kids (boy 5 and girl 2), We are renting one of those big ol' executive homes just off the property, and we will have three cars amongst the group. Budget is not as limited as it has been at many other trips, so if there is a way to increase the fun at additional expense, please let me know.
Let me say a sincere thank you for any help you might be able to give. Many, many, many times I have benefited from the advice of this community of Disney fans!
