VERY windy and cold here!! What's happening in the rest of the Northeast?

Northeastern Pennsylvania checking in. Brutal cold with high winds. I'm concerned that the low temps may out due the heater for my son's six chickens.

Hmmm, wonder what would happen if I put them in the garage with my wife's brand new Altima?

i'm in middle tennessee, and its sixteen degrees outside right now, according to my google desk top, and a low of 13. its never this cold in TN!

well, I just woke at 4:28 to around 12 inches of additional snow! wind blowing and I am looking at my truck, wondering when it will clean itself OFF! I have work today!!!

Here in central New York, it's 9 degrees (wind chill of -10) with light snow & 19mph winds!

Our temp in Pocono area went up during the night. It was 9* when I went to bed, and now is 14* out at 7 am. THe wind is not as bad as yesterday. It was a steady 30 mph with gust of 45mph. I don't hear them now though.
Calling for flurries all week and lake effect snow.

Glad I am not in Disney with no winter wear to keep warm. That happened once in late October 06. It was 99* for days and the last night dropped to 40 and in the morning was still not out of 50*. I forgot my sweater and the kids were dressed in layers.

Windy, cold, and it's been snowing since Friday afternoon. DH just cleared the driveway for the third time this weekend; 12-18 inches each time! I wish it would stop so I can get to work on time tomorrow!

It's nice here today, mid 30's and doesnt' look very windy. We did get over a foot of snow since Thursday... can't wait to see what the totals are!

Also in Md. Cold and harsh harsh winds. I'm freezing, and am usually NEVER cold. Good day to stay inside and watch football.
