no one knows for sure. some people think she was pregnant when they met and she already had the baby, some think they are adopting, all i know is she "was" pregnant for like 15 months

Actually she was a virgin before she met Tom - she and Chris Klein never, well, you know She was waiting til marriage - til Tom brainwashed her Also Tom and Nicole adopted but I don't think they ever indicated WHY they adopted. And IIRC wasn't Nicole PG and then had a miscarriage when they were going thru their divorce? So who knows

This just in... on the Today show they said that NOT ONLY did Katie and Brooke deliver on the same day, but in the same hospital, on the same floor...right down the hall from each other. Talk about IRONY

Funny about Syracuse - I didn't know that and it makes him seem even weirder, though I do like the name (but not with Cruise as a surname).

As far as her being PG for 15 months, I don't follow They announced their PG in October and she was about 2.5 months along.

What I was saying before about Tom and Nicole never announcing the reason for the adoption - I mean that they never said, "Well so and so is infertile." Also sometimes when someone thinks they are infertile, they later become pregnant. I have a few friends who have adopted after a long IF struggle who later got PG naturally (what a shocker!). Anyway, I know lots of people joke about the paternity but I guess we'll see when they release pics

You all have said everything this major People Magazine reader has been thinking for a while now.

I KNOW I read years ago that Tom & Nicole could not have kids and I did read about her having a miscarriage and Tom saying "Nicole knows why....." about their break up. The whole thing left me so curious.

I have been wondering whose baby Katie is actually having, because for years I have read Tom could not have kids. I know I did!

Good luck to them both! I sure hope Katie doesn't fall into any kind of postpartem depression........
