Very sad news today

Today I got some sad news from about a dear friend of mine. Her husband was killed in Iraq on July 1. She has a daughter that will be turning 1 the end of the month and is pregnant now. The Air Force has flown her home. Our wives group collected money to send flowers and to help with food. I am just at a loss. My dh just retired...I thank God he made it back. Please say a prayer for the family of Airman First Class Carl Jerome Ware Jr..

I was just doing some late night surfing and I can't tell you properly in words, how sorry I am to hear this. It's like a hit in the gut to read this and I feel so sad for that poor woman and those kids. I can't imagine what she is going through and I hope she isn't all alone. Is there some family she has to help her? My prayers and good thoughts go out to her. I don't know how much it will help, but I really hope it does. Bless her husband's soul, he died defending his country and is a better man than me, for doing it. I never served or had to make a sacrifice for my country by being in the military. My thoughts are with her and her children.
