I watched an interview this morning. (I think it was CNN or maybe MSNBC) The interview was with Demorcratic State Senator of South Dakota (No it wasn't Tom Daschel)
The Senator is Tim Johnson. He has a son (Brooks) in the 101st Airborne and this will be his fourth war in five years.
The Senator voted YES for President Busch to authorize military action against Iraq.
His son had told his dad before the vote to please vote with his heart as a senator and not as the father of a son in the military.
I will be emailing the Senator with my thanks for his courage and to also offer my prayers for his son and his family.
The Honorable Tim Johnson D - SD
