Merry Christmas everyone!
I'm at WDW now. I used the AMEX code and the $40 off code (didn't know about the upgrade code when I made my reservation).
I picked up my car from the Dolphin on the 21st, for a total of $160. I had reserved an Intermediate, but the gentleman at the counter upgraded me to a grand prix. He told me that everyone gets an upgrade. It may be true, because I also received an upgrade in February when I rented from the Dolphin.
The guy at the counter was shocked at the low rate. He even questioned me again, saying "How many days is your rental for?" Apparently, the woman who rented an intermediate right before me paid over $600 for the same amount of time!
