VERY LATE check-in

My DD10 and I will be checking in very late (around 1:30am due to the beauty of frequent flyer tickets) at CBR. What do you think my chances are of getting a room close to OPR if I request at the time of check in? Oh, we did not request preferred building b/c we are staying on DVC vacation points (unexpected trip for cheer competition) only booked standard view. I know Martinique and Trinidad North are preferred, but since it will be just 2 females late at night do you think we have a chance of getting upgraded? Our checkin date is March 17 (Wed night or Thursday morning however you look at it.)

i have checked into the dolphin as late as 2 am and received a free upgrade without asking. I think they felt sorry for us. we were blurry eyed at that point.....good luck!!

We have arrived several times late like this and always got great rooms.

You may have a tough time if the resort is busy -- because everyone else has already made the same request! Both of our late night check-in experiences left alot to be desired. Don't be afraid to ask to move if you are not satisfied with your room location -- we have done that on more than one occasion.

I wouldn't count on being placed in a preferred location. You could always request Jamaica. It is just across the water from OPR.
